Group Fitness

Define Fitness offers several different types of group classes with different areas of focus. These classes offer participants access to affordable, varied, and motivating workouts that require no prior exercise experience and are great for people looking to be pushed a little beyond their comfort zone.  Classes are one hour and the time flies by because of class camaraderie, great music, and a challenging but fun environment.  All you need is a positive attitude, a towel, (because you’re going to sweat) and water!
Max class sizes of 10 participants.

Everyday Athlete – Get in shape “boot camp” style! Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper and lower body, specifically designed to “make it rain” sweat! From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, barbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges. No two classes are the same! All are welcome; there are plenty of variations and ways to scale up or scale down intensity.

FUNcti0nal FitnessFunctional Fitness is for who are people new to the gym or getting back to the gym after an exercise sabbatical. This class creates a habit of exercising regularly in a non-intimidating environment.  Packed with fun, functional and effective exercises while focusing on cardio endurance, body stability, strength, and resistance training while encouraging a healthy lifestyle. Functional Fitness is designed for those wanting a less vigorous format, this class will be challenging to each individual. The instructor is prepared to modify the workouts tailoring to each person’s fitness abilities.

Fit in 60This total body workout is excellent for any fitness level. Functional strength exercises mimic daily activities that prepare you for movements performed in everyday life, such as lifting your Costco groceries into the car, chasing your kids on the playground or even running up and down the stairs.  The workouts are designed to improve your muscular strength, endurance, balance, left/right body asymmetries, agility, and posture. Participants will utilize a variety of equipment including exercise ropes, TRX, stability balls, medicine balls, kettlebells, resistance bands, free weights and much more. Functional fitness training can make everyday activities easier, reduce your risk of injury and improve your overall quality of life.

Weekend Workout Blast What a great way to round out the week! Did you miss a class or two this past week?  No worries – this class is your chance to “catch up.”  Need a chest and tricep workout, we have one ready for you, want to round out your week with a cardio blast, a full 45 minute H.I.I.T workout will be written out for you, need to really focus in all that lower body and burn out those quads, we can do that too.  This is not a typical “open gym” but you will be working out more on your own at your own pace to a specified workout with trainers in class to demonstrate the exercises, answer questions and monitor form.

S.H.R.E.D. – S.H.R.E.D. Stands for Strength, High intensity interval training, Resistance, Endurance, and Definition. This class will incorporate high intensity interval training, with strength and resistance exercises, while pushing your endurance to the next level! Our whole goal is to create muscle definition! A bonus is you can have this workout done bright and early before you head into work, leaving your nights free!

Being able to workout with others definitely makes it more fun. I have made new friends and we encourage each other. The group environment helps me to make and meet my fitness goals
